ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

  • Full-text submission is not mandatory. Participants who wish may upload their full texts within one month after the congress. These texts will be published in a separate booklet.
  • Participants who intend to use their full texts for academic incentive or associate professorship applications are advised to upload their manuscripts within the specified period.
  • Submissions will be accepted only through the electronic system.
  • The online submission system allows step-by-step submission. Authors must first register using their e-mail address to create a username and password.
  • Submissions that do not comply with the submission guidelines will not be evaluated.
  • Acceptance of submissions will be announced following peer review.
  • All presentations will undergo scientific pre-evaluation.
  • The full-text template must be used for manuscripts intended for full-text publication.

  • Single case reports will be evaluated as Poster Presentations.
  • Single case reports may be accepted as Oral Presentations provided they are supported by a literature review.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Abstract submissions will be accepted only through the electronic system.

  1. Oral and poster presentations may be prepared in Turkish or English.
  2. All abstracts must be submitted in both Turkish and English and must not exceed 300 words.
  3. Original research abstracts must include objective, methods, results, and conclusion sections; case reports must include introduction, case presentation, and conclusion.
  4. Presentations must be original and must not have been previously presented or published before the TAOMS 2026 Congress.
  5. By submitting their abstracts, authors are deemed to have accepted publication in the congress abstract book.
  6. It is the responsibility of the corresponding author to ensure that all authors approve the content.
  7. Acceptance as an oral or poster presentation will be determined by the TAOMS 2026 Scientific Committee, considering the author’s preference.
  8. Oral presentations should be planned as 8 minutes presentation + 2 minutes discussion (total 10 minutes).
  9. In the title, the first letter of each word should be capitalized, and the remaining letters should be lowercase. Full names of authors must be clearly stated; abbreviations should not be used.
  10. Upon successful submission, a confirmation e-mail will be sent automatically by the system.
  11. Only correctly completed submissions will be evaluated. Incomplete draft submissions will be deleted from the system on May 5, 2026.
  12. Authors will be informed of acceptance or rejection via e-mail following the submission deadline.
  13. Congress registration is mandatory for abstract acceptance. Abstracts of participants who will not attend the congress cannot be approved.
  14. Acceptance letters may be requested after abstract acceptance. Requests should be sent to taoms@opteamist.com
